Atheism Debunked

If you look online you'll find quite a few videos and articles saying they've debunked atheism. The weird thing about all these people is that they all seem to be religious and have a vested interest in keeping their religion going. Saying something like "atheism debunked" is an oxymoron because there's nothing to debunk. Atheism is simply a disbelief in a god or gods. There's nothing more to it.

Religions want you to believe that they're debunking atheism because they think it gives them more credibility. The line of reasoning says that if they can disprove something else, it somehow proves their claims of a god. Atheists aren't trying to disprove anything, they're just saying they don't believe in god.

You can't debunk atheism because it's not debunkable. It's just a word that means a lack of belief in god. Look it up in any dictionary. There's nothing to disprove.
