Religious People Are Atheists Too

Religious people are atheists too. Yes, you read that correctly. Think about it: Religious people tend to believe in their own god or gods, but not in the gods of other religions. That makes them atheists when it comes to other gods.

When you don't believe in a god, you're an atheist as to that god. Atheism is simply the lack of belief in a god or gods. For example: Do you believe in the Viking god Thor? If not, you're an atheist about Thor. Do you believe in Zeus? If not, you're an atheist about Zeus.

Religious people get scared when someone says they don't believe in their god because they have so much invested in believing, but atheists are simply not believing in their god. That's it.
